Ease promised twice!….

Asalamu’alaykum dear readers,

There are times, days and some months and years that we all go thru in life experiencing great hardships, unease and discomfort. However, during those moments of great hardship and sadness we forget ourself whilst the problem engulfs every piece of us…but then something amazing happens to a believer. The amazing realization that Allah promises us many a thing..but the most of all He promised us during these testing times…EASE! Yes you read right…He, Allah Ta’Alla promised us ease not once but twice.

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (94:5

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (94:6

Thus with this promise we break from the shackles of worry, discomfort, sadness, loss, wound, disappointment and whatever else is eating away our mind, body and soul.

For verily we read these verses more often but we never reflect on the beauty hidden between these verses.

And so I said to my soul; my sufferings became easier because my Lord promised me ease, not once but twice! 🙏💕

May Allah grant us all ease, ameen

Don’t hurt me…

Asalamu’Alaykum

“When a glass is broken, the sound of breaking disappears immediately whereas the glass pieces are scattered over the ground hurting whoever walks over it”.

Similarly, “when you say something that hurts people’s emotions and feelings, the voice disappears immediately but the heart remains in pain for long.”

Therefore, don’t say anything except good and remember always the nine advises and prohibitions that Allah Almighty gave us in Suratul Hujurat (The Sura of Islamic manners) before you say something to anyone:
1.-فتبينوا:
“Fa Tabayyanu”: Investigate: when you receive an information, lest you harm people out of ignorance.

2.-فأصلحوا:
“Fa Aslihu”: Make settlement: between your brothers as believers are brothers.

3.-وأقسطوا:
“Wa Aqsitu”: Act justly: whenever there is a dispute try for settlement and act justly among both parties as Allah loves those who act justly.

4.-لا يسخر:
“La Yaskhar”: Don’t ridicule people, perhaps they may be better than you to Allah.

5.-ولا تلمزوا:
“Wa La Talmizu”: Don’t insult one another.

6.-ولا تنابزوا:
“Wa La Tanabazu”: Don’t call each other with offensive nicknames.

7.-اجتنبو كثيرا من الظن:
“Ijtanibu Kathiiran min Aldhan”: Avoid negative assumptions, indeed some of the assumptions are sins.

8.-ولا تجسسوا:
“Wa La Tajassasu”: Don’t spy on each other.

9.-ولا يغتب بعضكم بعضا:
“Wa La Yaghtab”: Don’t backbite each other. Its a major sin equivalent to eating your dead brother’s flesh.

Lastly Allah said in the Qur’an “Remind, for the reminder benefits believers”.

*May Allah continue to Bless and Guide us in all our affairs*.

Friday…

Assalamu’alaykum dear readers,

Tomorrow is Friday…prepare for it

froday

Friday Sunan List

1 – Bathing (Ghusl) on the day of Jumumah (Bukhari 877)

2 – To wear nice clothes (Abu Dawood,)

3 – Use perfume (‘Perfume’ refers to men only, as it’s not permissible for women in public) and use the Miswaak. (Ibn Majah)

4 – Going early to Jumuah Prayer (Bukhari 929 & Muslim 1964 )

5 – Walking to Masjid for Jumuah Paryer (Al-Tirmidi, 496)

6 – If the Saffs (rows) are already filled, one should not jump over the shoulders of the musallies in order to get to the front. (Abu Dawood)

7 – Try to sit as close as possible to the Imam. (Majah, Tirmidhi)

8 – Listening attentively to Khutba (Sermon) (Bukhari 934)

9 – Making a lot of du’aa’. [al-Bukhaari, 893; Muslim, 852]

10 – Seek the Hour: Rasulallah (sallahu allayhe wasalam) said: “There is such an hour on Friday that if any Muslim makes dua (Supplication) in it, his dua will definitely be accepted.” (Bukhari 935, Muslim)

11- Sins Forgiven: The five daily prayers, and from one Jumuah to the next, are an expiation for whatever sins come in between, so long as one does not commit any major sin. (Muslim, 233)

12- Increase your Durood (example: Durood Ibrahim)
“Recite Durood upon me in abundance on the day of Jummah since they are presented to me.” (Ibn Majah)

13- Recite Soorat al-Khaf

“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.”

(Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249. Al-Albani Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6470)

Allah says:

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

(Soorat Al-Jumu’ah, 9)

Don’t Forget Allah:

Allah says: And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah’s bounty, and remember Allah much, that ye may be successful.

(Soorat al-Jumu’ah, 10)

Make sure to share this to others and tell your friends:

‘Whoever starts a good thing and is followed by others, will have his own reward and a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in any way. Whoever starts a bad thing and is followed by others, will bear the burden of his own sin and a burden equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in any way.'”

(Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 2675. He said, This is a saheeh hasan hadeeth)

Tonight, the first odd night…

Asalamu’alaykum people, we know tonight you won’t be able to check your emails, so we are publishing this now for you. Please take advantage of what this qari is saying.

Shaykh maher muaqily gives some very practical advice here:

He says:

Ideas for the last ten days:

1. Give 1 dinar in charity every day, so if it falls on laylatul qadr it’s as if u gave charity everyday for 84 years.

2. Pray two ra’kaat everyday, so if it falls on laylatul qadr it’s as if u prayed everyday for 84 years.

3. Read Surah ikhlaas three times a day, so if it falls on laylatul qadr it’s as if u read the whole Quran everyday for 84 years.

He then says spread this as you may find it on your account [of good deeds].

May Allaah accept it from us. Ameen!
