Ever wondered …

We pray our readers are in the best of health and high iman. Something occurred to me the other day…isn’t it amazing how Great Allah is yet we humans find many ways to disobey him?

Take for example the medical field.. there are so many different specialist within one hospital all dealing with different parts of the body. You can’t find a doctor that is able to deal with the whole body in a specialized manner.. yet we see ourselves better than the one who granted us that skill. At the end of the day, we must remember…Allah is Greater than we can imagine and we are extremely limited in what we are able to do. Never think yourself bigger!

A woman’s cry….

Tears are never wasted…

A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?”

“Because I need to” she said.

“I don’t understand,” he said.

His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will.”

Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?”

“All women cry for no reason,” his dad answered carelessly.

The little boy, still wondering why women cry, finally asked the old wise shaikh (scholar). “He surely knows the answer”, he thought. “Ya Shaikh! Why do women cry so easily?”

The Shaikh answered: “When Allah made the woman she had to be made so special. He made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort. He gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that comes from her children. He gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining. He gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child hurts her very badly. He gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. He gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly. And lastly, He gave her a tear. This is hers and only hers exclusively to use whenever she needs it. She needs no reason, no explanation, its hers.”

“You see my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the beauty of her face, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart – the place where love resides.”

The little boy got the answer and never asked the question again.
May Allah bless all mothers and all woman in all the world and give them strength to be strong! Ameen

Funny Sheikh!

We pray you are all well inshallah

Today we have a funny story to relate, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

From The Humour Of Scholars.

One of the student of knowledge narrated that he was on a trip to Europe with a host of scholars for the purpose of Da’wah.

He said:
“we lodged in a hotel and it was time for Salah. The hotel had no space for Salah. We came down to pray in a narrow space while there was a small room in front of us.

We said to the Imam ( the one to lead us in prayer), ” you stand in this small room while we pray in the narrow space behind you.”

” We commenced the prayer and we were in the first sujud (prostration). The prostration was prolonged so much that we remained in prostration, prostration, prostration.

Finally, we raised our head to know what had happened. We were shocked that the Imam was no where to be found.

We later discovered that the small room was a lift. The Imam found himself saying “Allahu Akbar”  on the fourth floor.”
